This third edition took 10 years to complete and expands and updates the second edition. Unlike its predecessor, this Manual now gives legal definitions in Spanish of all the juridical entries - a huge change and not found in other legal bilingual dictionaries - which accounts for its being 2 1/2 times larger than the previous edition. It attempts to cover the practical and most common aspects of English/Spanish judiciary interpreting in the US courts of law only (no other countries were included.) It covers criminal, civil, juvenile, domestic and probate courts - it also covers all courts: municipal, justice of the peace, county, state and federal courts in the United States of America, as well as a number of pertinent international organizations. Law enforcement, drugs, felonies, misdemeanors, labor disputes, immigration issues, domestic and juvenile matters and the strange things that people go to court for have been included, as well as the bilingual slang terminology used in the streets, in law enforcement, and to commit crimes.
